Meanwhile, according to hc2d.co.uk, "Designers are to rethink the design of hospital Accident and Emergency departments in a bid to develop innovative new ways to reduce violence and aggression towards NHS staff". I remember going on a school trip to the county's biggest police station once, and the community cop told us that the place had been painted brown as it was believed by psychologists to have a calming effect on those in custody.
That chaplaincy story does have me wondering though - companies often provide a range of staff benefits from discounted goods and services to employees heath insurance - maybe there should also be spiritual guidance for staff?
