More than half of U.S. doctors now favor switching to a national health care plan and fewer than a third oppose the idea, according to a survey published on Monday.

National health, as in single payor, as in run by the federal government.

You know, kinda like Medicare.

It’s an annual tradition: Thousands of white-coated physicians from across America descend on Washington for a week of lobbying Congress to fix a serious glitch in the Medicare program that will lead to a sizable cut in their payment rates
